The Crown Inn - Newcastle on Clun - 3 miles
A lovely 17th C country inn full of character and charm serving good pub food, the bar menu, evening meals and Sunday lunches are all sourced from local suppliers.
The White Horse Inn - Clun - 5 miles
A real ale pub in the centre of picturesque Clun with it's own microbrewery and serving good locally sourced food daily. Booking not essential but it does get busy. A lively venue and one of the hosts of the Clun Valley Beer Festival usually held in September.
The Castle Hotel - Bishops Castle - 5 miles
Highly regarded with a good menu, very friendly staff and beautiful south facing gardens.
The Three Tuns - Bishops Castle - 5 miles
Very good pub menu and excellent beer brewed next door in their brewery, the oldest in Britain (visits can be arranged).
Bishops Castle also has a chip shop, Indian and Chinese takeaways
An excellent pub, which serves a tasty menu and local beers run by a local family with a constant smile on their faces.
Mellington Hall – Mellington – 8 miles
is an impressive country house with a tasty menu.
The Hundred House - Purslow – 9 miles
Built in 1685, and formerly a court house simple delicious pub food.
The Lion Inn - Leintwardine - 10 miles
Great food and service in a lovely riverside setting.
The Baron - Bucknell - 10 miles
Excellent pub food in a picturesque valley setting.
